Our steel hollow metal doors use Trussbilt's unique TrussCore design. This monocoque design efficiently captures the enormous strength of the steel door skins. In our unique welding process, Trussbilt doors are welded every three inches, vertically and horizontally, linking the steel door surfaces and forming a single welded structure. A typical prison door has over 800 welding points, 50% more than the steel detention doors made by our competitors. This unified structure provides greater protection against delamination.
 
Custom built for each order, Trussbilt jail and prison doors can accommodate any requirements for size, window and hardware configurations, security levels, fire ratings, and additional door options such as cuff ports, shackle ports, speaker and intercom devices, and Trussbilt's Safe-T-Feed device. All options are available for both sliding and swing doors.
